Hello Coaches and Athletic Directors,
Sierra High would like to invite you to our 19th Annual Vern Gebhardt Champions Cup for your Varsity and Junior Varsity girls’ soccer teams. Challenge your team’s skill against the best high schools in the area in this fun and competitive tournament. Space is limited. A discount will be provided if both your Varsity and Junior Varsity teams participate. To secure your spot, please see the attached flyer for registration. The Sierra High School girls soccer program would like to invite you to the 16th annual Vern Gebhardt Champions Cup, historically one of the top high school tournaments in the Sac-Joaquin Section and surrounding region. The tournament will be held on Dec. 3-4 at Sierra High and adjacent parks, and will feature three divisions: Platinum, Gold and Junior Varsity. There is a price break for high schools seeking to register both their varsity and junior varsity teams.
Historically, the Gebhardt Champions Cup has provided teams with a strong early-season test and has helped prepare those programs with title and playoff aspirations for the journey ahead. No matter your program's level or size, the Gebhardt Champions Cup provides experience and opportunity to all.

Hello, coaches and athletic directors. My name is Manuel Pires, head coach of the Sierra High girls soccer program and director for the Gebhardt Champions Cup. Attached you’ll find the link for the entry form for the 16th annual tournament, which is scheduled for Dec. 4-5 at Sierra High and neighboring parks. Our tournament has evolved into a multi-sectional, multi-divisional event geared toward creating early-season competition for teams of all levels. Our last two champions have appeared in the CIF Northern California soccer championships, and the 2019 finalists reached the Sac-Joaquin Section semifinals. The 15th annual Gebhardt Champions Cup Dec.6-7 at Sierra HS
With the change in the postseason format,the Gebhardt Champions Cup will be used as
Barometer for varsity programs with league and section aspirations.the varsity tournament will feature
20 teams, junior varsity draw will be capped at eight.
Registration is:$475 for varsity; $375 junior varsity; $800 for both.JV spaces are limited. teams are guaranteed
