DEAR COACH,
This letter is to inform you about our scrimmage on August 11 & 12, 2023. We hope that you will be able to attend this year.
The Varsity scrimmage is on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 7:00pm. The format is 10 -15 minutes period of running clock. Each team is scheduled for three rounds on offense and defense. This has worked well in the past and with your participation we can have an excellent scrimmage. Officials will work the Varsity scrimmage only
The Freshmen & JV scrimmages will be on Saturday, August 12th. Frosh at 10am & JV at 12 noon. The periods will be 10-12 minutes long running clock & depending on the amount of teams participating. Coaches will officiate with the help of RL Varsity coaches. The offensive side will control whistle and defense will spot the ball.
Please respond with your name, school, email and a phone #. ASAP. Scrimmage teams scheduled in the fall will not face each other. Thank you for the interest. A follow-up letter will be sent to you in early August. I will call or email you to confirm your participation. Please response ASAP for more info or your teams want to participate. We will be accepting either JV and/or Frosh separate from Varsity.
